ROCHESTER — Sue Rossman never expected to follow the estate sales business path.

With lessons and plans from their parents after years of clerking their sales, Three Sisters Estate Sales started running sales 15 years ago. In recounting sale after sale Rossman remarked: “we sold a lot.” Even through the “different” style sales, such as oil paintings, knives and dolls, people come to discover the treasured items. The sisters including Sue, Missy and Kim each “have our specialties” from organizing items to pricing and meeting with clients.

They host household estate sales largely in Rochester from March to October.
