A man who was in critical condition after a shooting in New Haven on Monday afternoon that killed another man has died from his injuries, according to police.

Two men, a 26-year-old and a 32-year-old man, were shot on Dickerman Street in broad daylight on Monday, police said.

The 26-year-old man died soon after the shooting and a 32-year-old man was in surgery on Monday afternoon.

On Tuesday morning, police said he has also died from his injuries.

Authorities have not released the two men's names because they are notifying their families.
