The $3,286,172 in funding comes through the province’s Housing Enabling Water Systems Fund, part of the Municipal Housing Infrastructure Program.

The township plans to use the money to build new water treatment storage, install pumping systems, and extend water mains. Local officials say the project will expand capacity to meet both current and future needs.
