Nothing says fall is around the corner like a Spirit Halloween store popping up in town. It’s like a guessing game. Where will it be? This year, the pop up store is in the Billings Heights, at the former Big Lots location at 1515 Main St.

A sign on the door reads, “Opening soon.”

According to the Spirit Halloween website, it could be as soon as the end of August — plenty of time for those who plan their costumes and parties months in advance.

Spirit Halloween is the largest Halloween retailer in North America, with over 1,500 stores across the United States and Canada. One of them pops up in Billings every year. For fall 2024, it was in Rimrock Mall. In years past, it frequented South 24th Street, just off King Avenue.
