Taylor Swift won't be marrying Travis Kelce with a paper ring.

The pop singer, 35, revealed her engagement to her NFL star boyfriend in an Instagram post on Tuesday, Aug. 26, while giving fans a look at the ring he proposed with.

Kindred Lubeck was the jewelry designer, and the ring is an old mine brilliant cut diamond. According to British jeweler Hancocks, the style of diamond is known for its pairing of a square or rectangular stone with rounded corners and sides.

Swift's announcement carousel led with a shot of Kelce down on one knee surrounded by flowers. The third photo in the carousel provided a close-up of the ring while the rest of the shots showed the pair embracing in a dreamy garden setting.

"Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married ," Swift captioned the post.

The singer also shared the news on her Instagram story along with a clip of her song "So High School," which was seemingly inspired by her relationship with Kelce.

Swift and Kelce have been dating since 2023. On an episode of his podcast "New Heights" that year, Kelce said he attended one of Swift's Eras Tour concerts and was disappointed that he wasn't able to give her a friendship bracelet with his number on it.

The two began their relationship later that year, and Swift has since attended many Kansas City Chiefs games to support her tight end boyfriend.

The engagement news comes less than two weeks after Swift appeared on Kelce's podcast, "New Heights," in an Aug. 13 episode to announce her upcoming studio album, "The Life of a Showgirl." During the more than two-hour conversation, Swift and Kelce spoke candidly while sitting side-by-side, providing rare insights into their relationship.

"This podcast got me a boyfriend, ever since Travis decided to use it as his personal dating app about two years ago," Swift joked on the show.

"It was such a wild romantic gesture to just be like, 'I want to date you,' " Swift said, remembering Kelce's original podcast call-out. She joked, "I was like, 'If this guy isn't crazy, which is a big if, this is sort of what I've been writing songs about wanting to happen to me since I was a teenager."

For his part, Kelce quipped that when he was at Swift's concert listening to her love songs, he thought, "I know what she wants me to do." Kelce also called himself the "luckiest man in the world," while Swift described the NFL star as a "vibe booster" and a "human exclamation point."
