PLYMOUTH - Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened on the interstate early this morning.

Department of Public Safety Spokesperson Shannon Moss says Troopers responded to a single vehicle crash on I95 southbound at mile marker 161 in Plymouth just before 1:30 am.

When they arrived they found a 2008 Hyundai on it's roof in the median.

Moss says says 40-year-old Tyler Cochran of Skagway , Alaska was driving and was deceased at the scene.

According to Moss, the preliminary investigation indicates speed and suspected impairment are likely factors in the crash.

It remains under investigation.
