According to Chris Tomasson of the Denver Gazette, the Denver Broncos have waived fullback Adam Prentice. The former Colorado State alum first joined the Broncos as an undrafted college free agent in 2021, but hit the waivers on the roster deadline. He was quickly picked up by the New Orleans Saints and played there from 2021-2024.

In four seasons, he has a total of 26 rushing yards and 8 receptions for 37 yards. He also has 16 special teams tackles in his career. The Broncos added him to the mix in mid-August and he is now heading back to the waivers. There is a chance Prentice finds his way onto Denver’s practice squad given the Sean Payton-New Orleans connections.
