Legendary GOP operative and Fox News contributor Karl Rove warned Democrats that crime is a national issue that they’re losing on during an appearance on Tuesday.

After playing clips of New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani , as well as Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and Boston Mayor Michelle Wu vowing to fight back against President Donald Trump as he mulls crackdowns similar to the one he’s championed in Washington, D.C., guest anchor Bill Melugin asked Rove for his thoughts on Mamdani praising Bass and Wu’s cities as “the gold standard” because “they don’t want to work with ICE and therefore “protect egregious criminal, illegal immigrants.”
