CIRCLEVILLE – Circleville Police handled nearly 50 calls for service on Monday, August 25, ranging from routine extra patrols and 911 hang-ups to more serious incidents including domestic disputes, trespassing, and an assault.
The day began just after midnight with back-to-back domestic trouble calls on Meadow Lane and Hayward Street, both of which resulted in reports being taken. Later in the morning, officers responded to Cottage Hill Lane for an assault, and later to Morris Road for a property damage report.
Trespassing was another recurring issue throughout the day, with reports filed on Rustic Drive, North Court Street, and East Franklin Street.
One of the more serious domestic cases of the day occurred on South Court Street around 2:15 p.m., where officers made an arrest following
