AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Gov. Greg Abbott is expected to sign legislation Tuesday afternoon that will protect the state "against threats from hostile foreign adversaries," according to a news release from Abbott's office. He said those threats include Russia, Iran and China.
The signing ceremony will happen at 3 p.m. at the Texas Capitol.
Abbott will be joined for the signing ceremony by Sen. Bryan Hughes, Sen. Lois Kolkhorst, Rep. Cold Hefner, Rep. Janie Lopez and Rep. Angela Orr.
Hughes and Hefner were sponsors of the bill.
