For Mike Cordeiro the past couple months have been anything but relaxing. Since having a car plow through his pizza shop back in June, it’s been long and stressful trying to get everything cleaned up and repaired.

On June 7, 2025, a woman drove from the mall parking lot, over a curb and smashed through the side of his restaurant.

“I’m still lost on how you could come from that far. I still can’t get over how you don’t even brake,” said Cordeiro, who added that 10 minutes prior to crash, there were a couple of customers exactly where the car landed inside the restaurant.
