ATLANTA — Gov. Brian Kemp will lead an economic mission to South America this week, his office announced Monday morning.
The governor, First Lady Marty Kemp and other officials including Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tyler Harper will travel to Brazil and Argentina, according to a release.
The aim of the mission will be to "continue strengthening longstanding ties between economic partners," the release said, and the governor and his delegation "will conduct meetings with firms already operating or under construction in Georgia during their trip, as well as attend diplomatic and relationship-building bilateral meetings."
Representatives from the Georgia Department of Economic Development, Department of Agriculture and Georgia Ports Authority will also take part in the mission. Georgi
