Syracuse, N.Y. — Although Miami Northwestern wide receiver Calvin Russell III is committed to Syracuse , several schools are still attempting to flip him.

The path to flipping begins Sunday for Russell’s home school.

Miami, Michigan and Florida State are attempting to recruit Russell away from Syracuse, he told Rivals . When the Hurricanes host Notre Dame on Sunday night, Russell is expected to be in attendance.

Miami is also attempting to flip four-star defensive lineman James Johnson, who chose the Longhorns over Syracuse and other schools.
