Two police cruisers crashed while searching for an armed robbery suspect in Randolph, Massachusetts, on Tuesday, police said.

No arrests have been announced in the search for the person who robbed a gas station on North Main Street by Oliver Street at about 1:20 p.m., Randolph police said. The robber, who had a semiautomatic handgun, left on foot.

Police have been looking for a 6-foot-tall man in a ski mask with a white T-shirt, blue or olive green shorts, black-and-white sneakers, black gloves, a blue Red Sox ballcap and gray plastic bag.

The police cruisers collided at the intersection of Mitchell and Royal streets, and their drivers were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.
