EAST RUTHERFORD - The New York Giants , like every other NFL team, are in the process of cutting their roster from 90 down to 53 by Tuesday's 4 p.m. deadline.

The Giants got an early start towards the 53-man roster in the aftermath of their preseason finale, making eight moves. They made two more transactions Sunday in advance of cut down day, meaning the roster is at 80 (kicker Jude McAtamney is 81, but he will be exempt and a member of the practice squad because of the International Pathway Program).
