The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has asked 46 states and territories to remove all references to “gender ideology” from sex education materials funded through the Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP).

This directive was issued by HHS’s Administration for Children and Families (ACF), which oversees the PREP program.
