JACK Nicholson is reportedly supporting his grandson as he pleaded not guilty to domestic violence on Tuesday morning.

The U.S. Sun was the first to break Sean Knight Nicholson 's arrest in Los Angeles on Wednesday, August 5, after he allegedly knocked a woman unconscious.

The 29-year-old is facing four years in prison for the alleged attack on the woman, who The U.S. Sun is choosing not to name but who was present at his hearing on Tuesday.

Judge Keith Schwartz made a criminal protective order for the alleged victims' safety after Nicholson entered his not guilty plea during the arraignment.

He has to stay 100 years away from the accuser, not harass her, and must stay clear of Pepperdine University.
