RANDOLPH, Mass. —

Two Randolph police cruisers collided Tuesday afternoon while searching for a suspect in the armed robbery of a gas station, police said.

Just before 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to Prestige Gas at 1201 N. Main St. in Randolph for a report of an armed robbery.

Gas station surveillance cameras captured the suspect, a 6-foot-tall Black man, who was wearing a white T-shirt, blue or olive shorts, black and white sneakers, black gloves and a blue Red Sox baseball cap over a ski mask.

Video of the robbery shows the suspect pointing a gun at a cashier at the gas station. The cashier pulls out cash from a register and gives it to the suspect, who rolled it up into a light-gray plastic bag, police said
