MARTINSBURG - Zane Sheely can sum up why he loves riding his motorcycle on a race track in just a few words.

"I like to go fast," he said.

And fast Sheely goes when he hits the track several times a year for Track Days at a number of locations - pretty much any venue within a few hours' drive. The events allow him and other participants to drive fast without the pressure of competition and just for the enjoyment - all in a safe environment.

"I've had a fascination with (motorcycles), since I guess Mission Impossible: III, watching (Tom) Cruise ride, or even Tron Legacy - always a fascination with them. I never had the time or money to develop that hobby until last year," he said.
