WASHINGTON (Gray News) – President Donald Trump says he wishes good luck to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce after the couple announced their engagement Tuesday morning.

When asked to comment on the engagement, Trump said:

“Well, I wish them a lot of luck. Yeah, I think it’s, uh, I think he’s a, a great player. I think he’s a great guy and I think that she’s a terrific person, so I wish them a lot of luck.”

Trump has previously been critical of Swift ever since she publicly announced her liberal political beliefs and support for Former President Joe Biden and Former Vice President Kamala Harris in their elections against him.
