FAIRFIELD COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office says a man has been arrested at his home in connection with a shooting that happened at the beginning of the month.

Deputies say on August 9, they responded to the Columbia Road area for reports of gunfire.

Evidence at the scene indicated that shots were exchanged between individuals near a home on Oak Street.

Following an investigation, Tyrese Antonio Robertson was arrested on Monday, August 25, at his home on Oak Street for breach of peace, high and aggravated in nature.

Deputies executed a search warrant at the home, where a firearm and ammunition were recovered, according to FCSO.

Robertson was also charged under South Carolina law for unlawful possession of a firearm, as investigators say he is prohibited from posse
