QUINCY (WGEM) - In a few weeks, many Gem City residents will have the opportunity to support local athletes with special needs.

The Dancer Love Foundation is bringing back the Glow Row Fundraiser from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Sept. 27 on the Maine Street side of Washington Park. For more information about the fundraiser, click here .

Dancer Love Foundation founder Sam Dancer hosts a CrossFit class for athletes with special needs, and the money raised from the Glow Row helps fund the class.

It allows them to pay for specific coaches and trainers, and even covers expenses so the athletes can compete in different competitions. Dancer said the class is way to make sure people with special needs have equal opportunities.
