Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel called Michigan Medicine, the University of Michigan health system , "cowardly" and "shameful" for yielding to pressure from the Trump administration and halting gender-affirming treatment — puberty blockers and hormone therapy — for transgender people under 19 years of age.
