ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - The house Alison Parker shared with her parents and her brother is filled with memories of a life well-lived.

“It just captures her so perfectly, just that kind of gazing off into the distance and millions of ideas going through her head,” Barbara Parker said.

A book of pictures and letters from people she knew at James Madison University, and awards for her work as a broadcast journalist.

Beyond the tangible reminders, Barbara and Andy Parker say they still feel the love from those who were close to Alison, and from many others who only knew her through the television screen.
