President Trump has changed his tune on “terrific” Taylor Swift upon hearing the popstar he once claimed to hate had gotten engaged.

“I wish ’em a lot of luck,” Trump said to a chorus of laughter after a reporter said she felt the need to tell the president that “the biggest pop culture news of the year broke while we were in this Cabinet meeting.”

Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce announced their engagement on social media Tuesday after two years of dating .

“I think he’s a great player and he’s a great guy and I think she’s a terrific person, so I wish them a lot of luck,” the president added.
