Malik Beasley is not out of the woods yet.
A source with knowledge of the situation told The Post that the NBA veteran is still a “subject” of a federal probe related to sports gambling and could still be charged.
Beasley could still face punishment from the league after its own investigation as well.
Beasley’s attorneys, Steve Haney and Mike Schachter, told ESPN that they had “extensive conversations” with investigators and “received determination” that their client was no longer a “target” in the investigation. 3
“Months after this investigation commenced, Malik remains uncharged and is not the target of this investigation,” Haney said. “An allegation with no charge, indictment or conviction should never have the catastrophic consequence this has caused Malik. This has liter
