Dignitatires, guests and well-wishers gathered Aug. 26 inside HCA Florida West Florida Hospital, 4600 SW 46th Court, Ocala, for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the hospital's new tower.

About the building: This $120 million expansion features, among other things, 40 additional inpatient beds, four operating rooms, four elevators (two for patients and two for the staff,) 247 new parking slots and a second-floor shell ready for future expansion.
