ARLINGTON, Texas — Sharp accusations echoed outside an Arlington job fair for Immigration and Customs Enforcement, better known as ICE.
Protesters held signs and voiced frustrations, accusing the agency of tearing families apart and harming communities.
“Tearing apart families, breaking up even kids with no parents or grandparents. It’s disgusting. It’s not America,” said protester Buddy Lace.
Lace is part of a handful of demonstrators outside on and off throughout the morning and early afternoon as the career expo took place at the Esports Stadium in Arlington. It's a two-day hiring blitz for the agency as part of a nationwide campaign.
