Another pair of former Detroit Lions have been cut from NFL rosters at the deadline on Tuesday as defensive linemen Jeremiah Ledbetter and Cory Durden each found themselves on the wrong side of the New York Giants’ 53-man cutoff point.

Ledbetter was released from the organization after signing a deal with the Giants in March.

Originally a sixth-round pick in 2017 out of Arkansas, Ledbetter began his NFL career with the Lions. He lasted just one season with the Lions, playing in 16 games and notching 14 total tackles and four QB hits, before being waived after his second training camp.

Ledbetter would proceed to have two stints with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, playing in four games while mixing in time on their practice squad and the Baltimore Ravens’ practice squad.
