BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Soccer sophomore defender Abby Wiedermann has been named the Conference USA Defender of the Week for her play in the Hilltoppers’ home opener against Jackson State last week. It is the second time Wiedermann has earned a weekly honor in her career at WKU. She was previously named CUSA Defensive Player of the Week in October of 2024. On the honor head coach Jason Neidell said “It’s exciting to see Abby get this honor. She has worked really hard to grow her game and has matured and become one of the vocal leaders for this team.
