With several area universities starting school next week, Labor Day weekend marks move-in time for thousands of students.
In anticipation of the infamous phenomenon that is ‘Storrowing’ — when a truck gets stuck or hits the underside of a bridge — the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation beseeched visitors to take caution.
In a mock newscast posted to the department’s X account, “Jeff Hairdo,” an anchor for “DCR Action News,” told residents to drive with their “eyes open,” specifically on Storrow Drive, Soldiers Field Road, and Memorial Drive, the locations most prone to seeing drivers get “Storrowed.”
