WILLISTON — Disabled veterans in Williston will soon be able to use their license plates as permits for designated parking, after city commissioners voted Tuesday (Aug. 26) to bring city rules in line with state law.
As noted by City Attorney Taylor Olson during the Williston City Commission meeting on Tuesday evening (Aug. 26), an amendment to a city ordinance regarding parking in mobility-impaired parking spaces would allow a disabled veteran license plate to serve as authorization for parking in those spaces. kAm%96 @C5:?2?46 AC@9:3:ED A2C<:?8 :? 2 56D:8?2E65 >@3:=:EJ\:>A2:C65 DA246 F?=6DD E96 G69:4=6 5:DA=2JD 6:E96C 2 A6C>:E @C 2 5:D23=65 G6E6C2? =:46?D6 A=2E6]k^Am kAmp G:@=2E:@? @7 E9:D @C5:?2?46 :D 4@?D:56C65 2 ?@?>@G:?8 G:@=2E:@?[ H9:49 42CC:6D 2 766 @7 S`__]k^Am k9bm{2C86 7
