LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - As educators and students are getting settled in class, school supplies are necessary essentials and many teachers buy them out of pocket every year. A teacher in Little Rock says it's a purchase she makes often, only this time a porch pirate got in the way.

Celeste Blissett is a teacher at Lisa Academy in Little Rock. She says for years as an educator she has bought school supplies for her students, but this year she was shocked to see someone on her home camera footage stealing her package from her porch.

“Every year, I do buy school supplies out of pocket. It's unfortunate the time we're living in.” Blissett goes on to say she’s bought “fidget toys, binders, notebooks, lots of pencils, highlighters, and reading books.”
