Kevin Stefanski reveals Shedeur Sanders' role for Browns Week 1 vs. Bengals

The Cleveland Browns quarterback saga hits a new phase before the start of the season.

With Kenny Pickett gone to Las Vegas and Tyler 'Snoop' Huntley officially cut, Joe Flacco starts ahead of Dillon Gabriel who was named the backup. The move leaves Shedeur Sanders as the designated third string "emergency" QB, according to Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski.

Despite the massive popularity, the fifth-round rookie will be on the sidelines unless some unfortunate injuries occur ahead of him. Not unlikely considering the Browns QB history.
