Oklahoma finished third at the Little League Softball World Series, yet its run now feels tainted. Tulsa National, the team representing the state, stands accused of stacking its roster with players who never should have been eligible.

It all started at the Southwest Regional in Waco, Texas. Coaches raised red flags even before the tournament began. One coach from Texas spotted players on Tulsa’s roster who never logged the required eight regular-season games.
