ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Thirteen people were arrested and more than $900,000 worth of drugs and cash were seized in Athens and Atlanta on Tuesday, according to the U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Georgia.

According to U.S. Attorney William R. Keyes, a total of 17 people are facing charges in a drug trafficking ring that distributed fentanyl, cocaine and “other controlled substances” in Athens and surrounding communities.
