The Twilight star, who dated the Grammy winner briefly in 2009, shared his support for the bride-to-be by reposting a message celebrating the news of Taylor and Travis Kelce 's engagement, which they announced earlier the same day in a joint Instagram post .

In the repost originally shared to the NFL's Instagram Aug. 26 , a photo from Taylor and Travis' engagement was shown alongside a picture of their special moment together on the field after Travis won the AFC Championships in January 2024. Atop the side-by-side, the football account added Taylor's sweet quote to Travis at the time, writing, "I can't believe this is happening."

And the NFL captioned the post, "same."
