OLD ORCHARD BEACH, Maine — A 63-year-old woman died Tuesday after her car struck a wall inside the underground garage of a condominium building in Old Orchard Beach.

Old Orchard Beach first responders were called to the Sunspray Condominium on East Grand Avenue for a report of a crash around 4:50 p.m., according to the Old Orchard Beach Police Department.

Upon arrival, they found a Chevrolet Impala that had immediately struck a wall in the garage upon entering from the parking lot, which caused significant damage to the vehicle, police said.

First responders attempted medical aid to the woman, but she was pronounced dead at the scene. She was reportedly the only person in the vehicle.
