Toronto police are asking for the public's help to find a vulnerable 75-year-old man who went missing in Scarborough on the weekend.

Edward was last seen on Saturday at about 3 p.m. in the area of Victoria Park Avenue and Lawrence Avenue E., according to Duty Insp. Errol Watson, spokesperson for the Toronto Police Service.

Edward suffers from Alzheimer's disease, which has caused periods of short-term memory loss. He takes medication for a number of conditions and is hearing impaired, police say. He was not wearing his hearing aides when he went missing.

"He's known to walk a great deal," Watson said.

Edward is known to frequent Eglinton Avenue E. and Lebovic Avenue as well as Pharmacy Avenue and Ashtonbee Road.
