LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office said they have arrested a known sex offender after he went on school property.

According to a post by the sheriff’s office , 32-year-old Brandon Strickland, who is listed as a “sexual violent predator,” entered the property of a school. School was reportedly not in session, and no children were there.

Police said a school resource officer was told about Strickland on the property and began to investigate. Strickland had left the property by the time an investigation began, but the officer completed the investigation and submitted his findings to the prosecutor. A warrant was then issued.
