OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (WDAF) — On Tuesday, the Association of Pickleball Players (APP) announced a 5-year APP tour stop in Overland Park.

You'll be able to watch professional pickleball players compete at the AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk next fall.

Organizers said partnering with Overland Park was an easy decision.

"As we all know, this is the most pickleball-obsessed community in the country." said Ryan McSpadden, chief revenue officer for the APP. "So for us to bring major APP tour stops here, we're super grateful."

Overland Park will host APP Tour tournaments from Sept. 16 to Sept. 20 in 2026.
