WASHINGTON —

Indiana Republicans were in Washington, D.C. Tuesday to meet with President Donald Trump.

It came as lawmakers consider redrawing Indiana's congressional districts.

Every Indiana House Republican in Congress has expressed their support for redistricting.

State Democrats gathered Tuesday morning to protest the meeting.

"I like the direction the country is going. I would like to see what can we do on a state-level with state legislation that can help promote that agenda, to keep that moving," said Republican Rep. Craig Haggard.

On the other side of the aisle, Democrats are calling the move cheating.

"Let's be honest. This isn't redistricting. This is rigging. This is cheating. This is throwing our most important American value into the garbage. And they're running scared
