SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - Although there will be some slightly drier air moving in on Wednesday we will still see a few scattered storms. High pressure will build in and begin to clear our skies especially on Thursday.

We are going to see only a slight chance for storms on Thursday as some drier air slips in. We will see high pressure reestablish to our north which will allow for a more northeasterly flow over the weekend which will put us back into our normal summer pattern with mainly late day storms anticipated.

Moisture will be returning for the weekend especially on Sunday which means we could see some of the storms dump some heavy rain. With the ground very saturated from the recent downpours expect to see some localized flooding on some of the roadways.
