KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — After starting the 2025 season unranked, the University of Tennessee women's soccer team has earned its highest-ever ranking in the United Soccer Coaches Poll.

The Lady Vols have kicked off the season with four consecutive shutout wins, including the team's first win against a No.1-ranked opponent in program history. Tennessee is now ranked second in the United Soccer Coaches Poll and fourth in TopDrawerSoccer.com's rankings.

Tennessee has outscored opponents 15-0, including a 9-0 win over Eastern Kentucky that set multiple program records. With victories over North Carolina and UCLA, Tennessee has beaten two of the last three NCAA national championship winners.
