A judge on Brazil's Supreme Federal Court (STF) ordered the Penitentiary Police to permanently monitor former President Jair Bolsonaro, who is under house arrest, without media exposure.

The measure responds to a direct request from the Attorney General's Office, which warned of the risk of flight and requested that the former far-right president be reinforced, Prensa Latina reports.

According to the resolution, prison teams must maintain continuous surveillance at Bolsonaro's residence in the capital, provided that the police presence does not disrupt the neighborhood or invade the privacy of the home.
