HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A Harris County Sheriff's Office sergeant was caught on video struggling to walk during a field sobriety test early Sunday, leading to his arrest on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
Kevin Ray Adams, a witness at the scene, described watching Sergeant Dung "David" Hoang stumble as he left an extra job in full uniform at Mo's Place in Katy. Adams said Hoang appeared severely off-balance and nearly fell multiple times.
"I noticed the cop walk in front of me but staggering and I thought maybe he had a medical issue," Adams recalled. "Then he almost fell and then he did fall down, trying to get into his car. I thought, 'Oh my God, he's drunk. He's wasted.'"
