TONOPAH, AZ (AZFamily) — A woman is now in jail after deputies uncovered a dozen dogs neglected and living in dangerous conditions at a home in the far West Valley.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Tuesday that Brittani Rose was arrested on multiple counts of animal cruelty.
Deputies described last Friday the horrifying conditions that the animals were living under in Tonopah . Bodycam video showed a malnourished dog limping around, and investigators said all of the dogs were underweight.
According to the sheriff’s office, the home didn’t have electricity or running water, and some of the property was too run-down to be livable.
Rose was booked into the Maricopa County jail on a count of intentional/knowing animal cruelty— cruel mistreatment, which is a felony charge.
