If the New York State Fair had a roof, Lil Jon might have blown it off.
Instead, a rainy storm came in while the “Get Low” rapper performed on the NYS Fair’s Suburban Park stage Tuesday night. Winds began to pick up heavily, causing large video screens to the left and right of the stage to start swaying towards the audience.
Fair officials contacted security, who got ahold of SAVI (Specialized Audio-Visual Inc.), a third party that manages the video monitors. Their team carefully lowered the video walls to the ground as concertgoers nearest to the two large screens were moved away from the area for safety measures. No injuries occurred.
