AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Pointy Boots de Amarillo (Amarillo Sod Poodles) defeated the Northwest Arkansas Naturals by a score of 11-2 on Tuesday.

It was a dominant display offensively with every player in the batting lineup registering at least one hit.

Along with the hits, eight of the nine batters scored a run towards the team total of 11.

Manuel Pena, Gavin Gonticello, LuJames Groover, Jack Hurley and Jean Walters were all tied for the most hits with two each.

On the mound, it was a dazzling performance from Mitch Bratt, who pitched 7.0 innings while allowing four hits for one run and notched eight strikeouts.

The dominant pitching earned Bratt the win, his 7th this season to bring his grand total to 7-3 overall.

With the win, Amarillo jumps out to an early 1-0 series lead.
