CHILDRESS , Texas (KFDA) - It’s almost that time for Childress Bobcats football to take the field for week one of the 2025 season.
“It’s a great feeling,” says senior Jacob Mora. “Just coming out here when the lights are on Friday night, there’s no feeling like it.”
“We’ve had a good couple of weeks of football, got through two scrimmages, came out healthy, so [we’re] excited to go play a real football game now,” says head coach Bo Helm.
While the players thrived to get better on the field for this season, off field relationships were just as important.
“I wanted to work on my strength, quickness, but at the same time be with my friends, create that bond with them and have that good team chemistry,” says senior Colton Teichelman.
